Accounting Companies lists accounting and bookkeeping businesses across Canada so that people looking for one nearby can find and contact them. Adding your business is free, and takes one message.
How to get listed
Send us the details through the listing form, choosing “Something else” and writing “new listing”. Include:
- the business name as you want it published;
- the street address and city, or the city alone if you do not see clients at your address;
- a telephone number;
- your website, if you have one;
- the services you actually offer — bookkeeping, payroll, corporate tax, tax planning, personal tax.
What we publish
Your contact details, as you give them
Business name, address, city, telephone and website. Nothing else is published.
Your services, attributed to you
Most service labels in this directory were inferred by us from the public listing category a business was found under — they were never confirmed with the business. When you tell us what you offer, we record it as stated by you instead of inferred, which is more accurate for you and honest for the visitor.
No designations, no ratings, no ranking
This directory records no professional designations, so we will not describe you as a CPA, a chartered professional accountant, a professional accountant or a public accountant — even if you are one. Titles like these are reserved by law to members of the provincial order, and we hold no data that would let us make that statement about anyone. We also publish no ratings, scores or “best of” rankings, and we do not write reviews of firms.
Who we list
Businesses in Canada that offer accounting or bookkeeping services to clients, and that we can find at a real, contactable address or phone number. If your entry turns out not to be an accounting or bookkeeping business, we take it down — that works both ways, and you can tell us about a listing that does not belong here.
Already listed?
Most of this directory was compiled from public sources rather than submitted by the businesses in it, so your firm may already be here with details you never gave us. You can:
- Correct it — send the right name, address, phone, website or services through the correction form.
- Claim it — tell us it is yours and what you want it to say. There is nothing to buy and no account to create.
- Remove it — ask and we take it off the site. If the entry is your own personal name or a home address, we remove it on request without asking why; see the privacy policy.
How long it takes
A person reads every request. We aim to acknowledge within 5 business days and to act within 30 days. New pages then have to be re-crawled by search engines on their schedule, which we do not control.
